Just some experimenting around with my modular. . . . . I take a signal from an lfo and split. I invert one of the signals and mix them.

Yep, 4-stage shift register made with s/h.

3 chain connected looping envelopes slowly finding a rhythm. At the start of the recording i set the tree envelopes at random loop length. Slowly they work their way to a more simple rhythm. Why? at about 2 minutes the rhythm is rather short phrase.

Cool sounds from filter. The two filters filter a tri-wave. The filters are almost self oscillating and are modulated by an lfo. Natural tones. And some spring reverb and analog delay.

Three part modular uncomposition. Or call it a patch driven by a mix ofchaos and order. Perfect as annoying sound. . . Made with a analog modular synth. The reverb is a spring reverb.

Two envelopes trigger each other and the quantizer which is fed with cv from the sloth lfo. Anyway, a modular synth experiment. A triangle wave from an lfo acts as a bass tone.

I made a tonal quantussy recording. The bass always plays a low c. The 5 tracks are selected from one 15 min long recording. The synth creates defined tracks with different character.

Doepfer a-119. Maybe not the coolest module on the market. But i have plans for this little friend. Bought it used. "module a-119 (external input / envelope follower) is designed to allow external audio signals to be integrated into the" (from doepfer home page) modular synth. As delay i use joyo analog delay.

A near chaotic experiment. Im mixing cycling envelopes and lfos to generate triggers. The four sounds are totally unrelated. > bass drum. > snare (or something. . . )> bass. The pitches for the bass are generated withthree mixed lfos. A trigger is generated from the quantizerwhen the cv changed enough to generate a new note inthe selected scale. > ear piercing and annoying sound. Three minutes of more than enough.

Nlc timbre! happiness! it works! i assembled this module a year ago. Never worked. Put it in a drawer. Now it works. Rent my drawer. . . 98,7% true!.

In this patch i’m using doepfer a-160 clock divider as a sub bas generator. Square wave out from doepfer a-110 to trig in on a-160. I guess a square wave makes it easier for a-160? /4, in this patch, out to uvcf. The sawtooth from a-110 to another nice filter - the wasp filter. The transient modules 8s sequencer gives us an 8 note sequence. A copy of the sawtooth melody is going to an analog delay stomp box from joyo and back to the synth. Patch consiting of- jupiter storm- jerkoff- filter- 2 x lfo- mixer- (spring reverb). Jupiter storm and jerkoff is in a "weak feedback loop". . . Purpose with patch is to evaluate the quality of the generative sounds/musicit will never repeat it self but there is some cyclic repetitionone cycle is about 50 sec - goodonly short sounds - badamplitude variation - badpitch variation - goodtimbre variation - okaymusical value - low to mediumentertaining - medium.
